Need for Training

Program related grant funds require careful expenditure and all those staff involved in management of such funding need up-to-date skills to ensure door funds are used within budget guidelines, are able to detect and prevent financial pilferage and relate project results to financial expenditure; thus, justify necessity for funding.

Learning Objective

By the end of the training, participants will demonstrate each one of the following competencies:

  • Provide leadership in designing and implementing robust financial M & E Systems for programs
  • Improve skills in the preparation of Financial Work Plans

  • Prepare relevant (usable) financial statements and reports
